Roman remains were found in South Wales
Roman remains were found in south Wales

In south Wales, in the town of Llanwern, Roman remains from the 2nd-4th century CE were found. Discovered among others Roman buildings and artifacts.

According to the researchers, the Roman settlement had well-constructed roads and a water system. The stone foundations of houses and floor mosaics have also been preserved.

All found items were handed over to the local museum.
